Update Services – My Ping List

Alright then, you’ve setup your new blog (or decided to work on your old one) and you’re ready to get posting; adding content and charging into the blogsphere. The problem is, if you’re not letting people know about that new content, how will it get seen?

Don’t rely solely on SEO tactics or your forum signature for exposure. Update services are a great way to let the world know about your new blog posts. They’re not the final word in blog marketing, far from it… but there’s nothing easier than keeping a good list and letting your blog software automatically send pings whenever you write a post.

If you don’t feel like hunting for every single update service on the net, don’t worry. I’ve included my list, I use it on many of my websites and so far it’s been going a great job of letting the world know about my content.

Enjoy.
